Adam I. Lundin
Mr. Lundin has many years of experience in capital markets and public company management across the natural resources sector. His background includes oil & gas and mining technology, investment advisory, international finance and executive management. He began his career working for several Lundin Group mining companies in various countries before moving into finance where he specialized in institutional equity sales, ultimately becoming co-head of the London office for an international securities firm. In addition to serving as President, CEO and a Director of Josemaria, Mr. Lundin is the Chairman of Filo Mining Corp., and Africa Energy Corp., and a Director of NGEx Minerals Ltd. , and the Lundin Foundation.
President, CEO & Director
Mr. Beck has more than 15 years of international project management and corporate development experience in the mining industry. He was recently appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Filo Mining after serving as the President of the company since 2019. Prior to that, Mr. Beck served as Vice President, Corporate Development and Projects of Filo Mining and Josemaria Resources Inc. (formerly NGEx Resources Inc.). Before joining Filo Mining, Mr. Beck worked in corporate development with Lundin Mining, with a focus on project development, corporate strategy, acquisitions, divestments, and joint ventures. Mr. Beck joined the Lundin Group of Companies in 2009 and has worked with many of the mining companies in the group. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario, holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from Queen's University and an MBA from the University of British Columbia. In addition to his role as President, CEO and Director of Filo Mining Corp., Mr. Beck also serves as a Director of Bluestone Resources Inc.
Lukas H. Lundin
Mr. Lundin is known for recognizing value and superior global investment opportunities in the natural resource sector. His uninhibited pursuit of highly prospective properties around the world has resulted in numerous resource discoveries, including the multi-million ounce Veladero gold discovery. Mr. Lundin has also led several companies through highly profitable business acquisitions and mergers such as Lundin Mining's $3.3 billion merger with EuroZinc Mining, the $2 billion sale of Tanganyika Oil Company Ltd. and most recently the $9.2 billion sale of Red Back Mining Inc. Mr. Lundin is a graduate of the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. He currently sits on the Board of a number of publicly traded companies.
Dr. Wodzicki has a doctorate in Geosciences from the University of Arizona and over 30 years of experience in international mineral exploration and corporate management. He has led successful exploration teams throughout the world, and has managed large scale projects from the generative stage through to engineering studies. Teams led by Dr. Wodzicki are responsible for several significant discoveries including Los Helados, Josemaria, Filo del Sol, and El Limon-Guajes. Dr. Wodzicki has worked for the Lundin Group since 2007 and was previously CEO of Filo Mining and Sanu Resources and has served as a director of several public companies. He is President, CEO, and Director of NGEx which, pursuant to a court approved plan of arrangement, was responsible for the spinout of Filo Mining.
Mr. Bitelli brings over 30 years of experience in the resource industry and in public accounting, having worked both in North America and Europe. A member of the senior management team at the Lundin Group of Companies, he currently holds the position of Executive VP and Chief Financial Officer of Lundin Gold Inc. Prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Red Back Mining Inc., a gold mining company with two African operations that traded on the TSX until its $9.2 billion takeover in 2010, and most recently, Orca Gold Inc.
Ms. Johnston serves as Managing Director of the Lundin Foundation. She draws upon over 15 years experience working in the private sector advising companies on Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) issues to reduce non-technical risks of resource development projects in Latin America, Asia and Africa. Ms. Johnston previously oversaw British Columbia's investment in skills training and leading programs for youth, women and Aboriginal participants. Ms. Johnston has served on the Board of Directors of a number of not-for-profit organizations and is a founding Board Member of an indigenous not-for-profit organization in Latin America. She has a Masters of Arts in International Leadership from Simon Fraser University and an Executive Leadership Certificate from the UBC Sauder School of Business. Ms. Johnston is also a director of Africa Oil Corp.
Ms. Daniele is the founder and Chief Investment Officer of CD Capital Management Group Ltd., the fund manager of a number of private equity and mining funds, since 2006. She has over 25 years of natural resources investment experience, 10 years of which were spent with Newmont Mining/Normandy Mining where she was involved in the acquisition of various companies including LaSource SAS (a joint venture between BRGM and Normandy Mining). As Senior Executive (Corporate Advisory) at Newmont Ms. Daniele was part of team on the structuring of cross-border mergers and acquisitions including the US$24 billion three-way merger between Franco-Nevada, Newmont and Normandy Mining to create the largest gold company in the world. Post-merger, she was involved in the divestment of various non-core mining assets around the world for the merchant banking arm of Newmont. Ms. Daniele started off her career at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu where she spent eight years in various corporate finance roles including international taxation, audit, accounting and reconstructions. Prior to the founding of CD Capital UK Ltd., she spent a year and a half as an investment advisor to a London based special situations fund on sourcing and negotiating natural resource private equity investments. Ms. Daniele holds a Master of Laws (Corporate & Commercial) and Bachelor of Economics from the University of Adelaide and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Strategic Advisor to the Board
Mr. Heppenstall is the Lead Director of the Board of Directors of Filo Mining. Mr. Heppenstall previously served as the President, Chief Executive Officer and Finance Director of Lundin Petroleum AB. Early in his career, Mr. Heppenstall worked in the banking sector where he was involved in project financing of oil and resource sector businesses. In 1990, Mr. Heppenstall was a founding director and shareholder of Sceptre Management Limited. Since 1993 Mr. Heppenstall has worked with public companies associated with the Lundin family. In 1998 he was appointed Finance Director of Lundin Oil AB. Following the acquisition of Lundin Oil by Talisman Energy in 2001, Lundin Petroleum was formed and Mr. Heppenstall was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in 2002 until his retirement in 2015. Mr. Heppenstall obtained a degree in Mathematics from Durham University. Mr. Heppenstall is also a director of Africa Energy Corp., International Petroleum Corporation, Josemaria Resources Inc., Lundin Gold Inc., Lundin Petroleum AB, and Africa Energy Corp.
